Except for the wind out there yesterday (and a couple miles of rough road) it was a great day for a biathlon.  Congratulations to our top finishers.  If you placed in the top 3 positions of your age bracket and didn't stay for the ceremony you can pickup your age bracket award at address below. 

Also a shout out to the 5K runners.  This was a our first time adding in a 5K only event to the Biathlon.  I know it brought more excitement to the event and 50 more participants.  This helps us keep this locally based event alive and more money for charity.   It also brought in some fast 5K runners that ran a sub-20 minute 5K!   Next year we will run the awards ceremony for this event much earlier since many could not stay until the 10am ceremony.  If you placed in the top 3 positions of your age bracket and didn't stay for the ceremony you can pickup your age bracket award at address below. 

Danenberger Family Vineyards was a great venue for us.  Thanks to Susan and Doug for hosting us!  I love that it is away from traffic and the city.  Farms make up 80% of the land in Illinois and we were in the heart of it at a venue that celebrates the spirit of American entrepreneurship!

Also many of the volunteers at the event were there supporting us because of their committment to our designated charity, "Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County".  They are making a huge impact in helping people move into home ownership by teaching personal responsibility and a commitment to one's goals. 

Remember this event is always the Saturday before Memorial Day.  I hope to see you in 2022.
