Series 1 Distances: 10K and a 5K
December 15th is fast approaching. Our first series run is at the Corner Pub & Grill at Iles and Koke Mill Rds. It's been a tradition that we start here since we started doing these winter runs 5 years ago. Here's your sign-up link.
Race day registration is $15 but if you register online, I'll guarantee you an Iceman Mug. If you register online by Dec. 9th, I'll put your name on your mug!
Points are earned for showing up (15 points), for each kilometer you run you earn a point and for your place in your age bracket (1st is 15 points, 2nd is 14 points, 3rd is 13 points, and on to 1 point for 15th place in your age bracket). This favors participation, distance as well as speed. Obviously, your chances of winning the Points Series in your age bracket is the highest, by running all the events, running longer distances and placing high in your age bracket.
At the end of the series, Top Points earners in each Age Bracket will receive a one of kind award, pictured on our Facebook page and presented to all the folks on our mailing list of over 600 runners.
If you want an Iceman Series hoodie I'm taking orders now. Pay for them when you pick them up. Please send me an email if you want one. $35 each with embroidered logo. They are unisex and come in Small to XLarge for the $35 price. 2XL and 3XL are $43 each.
