In our 6th & final issue for 2018, we feature Dr. Charlotte Warren, President of LLCC.  Fostering a learning environment that is affordable, she has been one of the most successful leaders at LLCC.  Karen Ackerman Witter tells the story of her background and success.  

Jody Dabrowski, CEO at Illinois Educators Credit Union, says adoption isn’t for everyone but it has brought her family such joy!  Read about how her and husband Joe adopted 3 children and the enrichment they have experienced. Story by Cinda Ackerman Klickna.

Jerry Gruebel, retiring CEO and Founder of Network Knowledge, has had an amazing career establishing and building our Public Television Station.   Retirement might be a challenge for the entrepreneur in him but he is grateful for all the support he has received from Central Illinois in his quest to keep the station alive.  Story by Hilliary LaMontagne.

The Civil Air Patrol, a U.S. Air Force Auxiliary provides leadership training and guidance for many youths in our community as well as a resource for our community in the event of a disaster. Lisa Rigoni tells us all about this decades-old program.  

The residents, employees and family members of Concordia Village Senior Living has an impact on higher learning by providing scholarships money for the community’s part-time employees. Read all about it in this issue.
