Saturday morning, May 18th will be the Capital City Striders' signature event, and hopefully, we can use it to inspire the community to get moving and have some fun at the same time.   We have a 2-mile route as well as a 3.1-mile route as well as a kid's run.  All of it inside of Southwind Park.  It is a Fun Walk-Run meaning that we encourage anyone to participate regardless of how long it takes you to finish the distance!

Because our event mascots are the tortoise and hare it seemed appropriate that for our first event we donate the proceeds to animal rescue and adoption services.
