Capital City Biathlon Registration Closing Soon!

We are about 2 weeks out from the event and there is still time to register.  We only have about 25 slots left for the Biathlon so you need to hurry if you plan to participate.  I'm capping the biathlon event to 75 participants this year.  There's plenty of room for more people to register for the 5K only event.  Also we are not seeking USAT sanction on this event which saves participants the $15 fee they charge.  
 
 The Capital City Biathlon a one of kind event for tuning up your multi-sport athletic skills.  Maybe you will go on to do a triathlon after this.

Some have asked why we added a 5K only race to this event.  The reason is simply that the CCB is sometimes the first time a runner tries out a multi-sport event.  By having a runner only event we can help recruit more people to participate in multi-sports and hopefully this biathlon. 

Dannenberger's will have some breakfast food for sale for those that bring friends or family to the event.  We'll have some complimentary post race food for participants like we always do.  Your entry to the event earns you a drink ticket for beer or wine after you finish and that's a first!  Keep your wristband and plan to stay or come back for the afternoon and evening entertainment and avoid the cover charge!

Also we have two other events we are producing this spring.  The Legacy of Giving Music Festival 5K/10K June 12th and the Levee Trail Run 5k/10K June 19th.  If you participate in the CCB, LoG and Levee you'll automatically be in a drawing to win one of two Garmin Forerunner 35's we'll be giving away at the Levee Trail Run.  

The deadline to be guaranteed a t-shirt is May 20th.
