The February 2025 issue of Springfield Scene Magazine is now available!
This edition features an exclusive interview with Taichi Fukumura, Music Director of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra. Taichi shares his vision for the orchestra and his plans to bring fun and excitement to the symphony. We also attended his concert at First Presbyterian Church and have included a selection of photos from the event.
Gus Gordon returns with ArtScene, highlighting Morgan Kaplan, a talented director and choreographer known for her work at The Muni, Hoogland Center for the Arts, Springfield Theatre Centre, and Springfield High School.
Additionally, we feature an article by Kent Gray, who served on the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s fundraising and event staff. He shares his experiences and photos from Inauguration Day.
